Depression is literally that – depressed mood which can present itself in many different ways from low energy and lethargy, loss of interest in pleasure and joy, withdrawing, low self worth, poor concentration, disturbed sleep and appetite. Symptoms and feelings are persistent and intense and remain with the person for weeks or more.
